gd-dirtystretchy

gd-dirtystretchy is a Max For Live device that I originally created in the Max/MSP Pluggo environment around 2002 & updated for M4L in 2023. It is a crude real-time time stretching effect. it records the incoming audio into a buffer and performs time stretching on it. You can control how fast or slow the time stretching is with “stretch” parameter. The slice parameter is basically how big of a slice of the audio that it scans through as its moving and pitch allows you to control pitch independently of time. (see "gd-cleanystretchy" for a cleaner, more modern version of this plugin)

Check out the rest of my Max for Live devices (mostly conversions of my older Pluggos & some other things). I have at least 25 with more to come as I get around to uploading them here. They have all been tested and work on Ableton Live 11 & 12 (and probably earlier versions as well).
