gd-downtime

gd-downtime is a Max For Live device that I originally created in the Max/MSP Pluggo environment around 2002 & updated for M4L in 2023. It uses the incoming audio to trigger random values for downsampling which creates a crunchy, evolving texture. No controls on this one!

Check out the rest of my Max for Live devices (mostly conversions of my older Pluggos & some other things). I have at least 25 with more to come as I get around to uploading them here. They have all been tested and work on Ableton Live 11 & 12 (and probably earlier versions as well).
