gd-octavizer

gd-octavizer is a Max For Live device that I originally created in the Max/MSP Pluggo environment in 2003 & updated for M4L in 2024. This takes the incoming audio and pitches it up & down octaves. Each channel is independent & you can control the direction and the speed of the octave changes. It can run in free mode with separate tempo settings or tempo mode which is synced to the Ableton tempo with subdivisions for each side. There are also range filters for limiting the number of octaves on each side. (the button on the bottom resets the ranges back to full) And finally, the black number box in the upper right corner sets the buffer length. Play around with different buffer sizes for surprising effects.

Check out the rest of my Max for Live devices (mostly conversions of my older Pluggos & some other things). I have at least 25 with more to come as I get around to uploading them here. They have all been tested and work on Ableton Live 11 & 12 (and probably earlier versions as well).
