gd-shepringmod

gd-shepringmod is a Max For Live device that I originally created in the Max/MSP Pluggo environment in 2003 & updated for M4L in 2024. This plugin uses a bank of Shepard tone sine waves to ring modulate the incoming audio. You can control the speed, pitch center, drop off & interval spacing of the Shepard tones. There is a visualizer for the Shepard tones as well.

Check out the rest of my Max for Live devices (mostly conversions of my older Pluggos & some other things). I have at least 25 with more to come as I get around to uploading them here. They have all been tested and work on Ableton Live 11 & 12 (and probably earlier versions as well).
